Bar Maimón

Bar Maimon is a small neighborhood bodega located on Rambam Street in Tel Aviv, named after the street itself - after Rabbi Moses ben Maimon, who lived in Córdoba in southern Spain. The starting point for the project was to create an intimate, warm, and unpretentious place that feels like it has always been there. The concept draws from southern Spanish bodegas, emphasizing closeness between people, small plates, and informal hospitality.

The design language is rooted in elements from the Mezquita de Córdoba, translated into a contemporary interpretation: repeating arches that create rhythm within the space, alongside raw materials, warm wood, and soft lighting. The graphic language is woven into the space, adding a subtle layer of Spanish vintage references.

The project included naming, brand identity, and spatial styling, with the goal of creating a cohesive experience that feels natural and effortless.
